Structural Technician – Cork
Salary: €45,000 – €50,000 + 10% Pension + 25 Days Annual Leave + Hybrid Working
We are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join a well-established engineering consultancy in Cork. As a key member of the team, you will work on a diverse range of exciting projects across various sectors, including education, healthcare, commercial offices, housing, life sciences, and leisure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed structural drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Support the design team in the development of structural solutions for a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and other project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of designs.
- Assist with site surveys, assessments, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in all design work.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Revit software for structural design and drafting.
- Strong understanding of structural principles and the ability to create accurate and clear technical drawings.
- Previous experience in a similar structural technician role, ideally within the education, healthcare, commercial, or residential sectors.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
