Are you an ambitious Structural Engineer looking for a new challenge? De Silva Structures is looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to work in a close knit dynamic environment.
De Silva Structures is seeking a driven individual, whether a graduate engineer or a chartered engineer, who holds membership with IStructE and/or ICE, and possesses a minimum of 3 years of hands-on structural engineering design experience within a UK consultancy. This position could lead to an Associate Director position for the suitable candidate.
As a valued member of our team, you will tackle projects from concept to completion. Our current projects comprise new build and the refurbishment of high end residential buildings, alterations to existing properties, historic buildings and commercial properties. Our projects are largely based in East and West Sussex and Hampshire.
Your responsibilities will include conducting structural analysis and design across various materials including steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and masonry, along with producing detailed drawings utilising Autocad. You will be expected to have a driving licence and a car, and be able to, and be interested in undertaking site inspections. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate closely with architects and contractors to ensure project integrity and success.
