Key Responsibilities
– Deliver hands on temporary works design across multiple concurrent projects, managing the full project lifecycle including technical design, commercials and client liaison
– Undertake Third Party Design Checks and provide consultancy across basement construction, party wall matters, buildability, sequencing and planning
– Design and review a wide range of temporary works solutions including crane foundations, demolition consultancy, façade retention, falsework, formwork, propping, shoring, jacking, scaffolding, marine works and structural alterations
Requirements
– BEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering and Chartered (or near) membership of ICE or IStructE
– Post graduate years experience in temporary works design with strong geotechnical knowledge and understanding of construction techniques
– Excellent communication skills, ambition to succeed and the ability to manage multiple projects independently
