As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:
- Lead structural design and engineering across a diverse portfolio of projects, from complex multistorey developments to bespoke residential schemes.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior and mid level engineers, fostering professional growth and excellence.
- Prepare and review detailed calculations, specifications, reports and structural drawings to high professional standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors and other consultants to deliver efficient, buildable and cost effective solutions.
- Ensure designs meet relevant codes, standards and client requirements, maintaining quality and compliance.
- Undertake site visits and offer construction support as required to ensure successful project delivery.
You’ll be a strong candidate if you have:
- A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Chartered status (IStructE/ICE) or working towards chartership.
- Proven experience leading structural design on complex building projects, ideally with exposure to both new build and refurbishment work.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and modelling software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and lead project delivery.
- Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions focused approach.
