SD Engineers is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and personable Structural Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team within our central London location.

About the role
The role requires someone who is self-motivated, embraces responsibility, and possesses strong technical design skills and has a good understanding of construction.
You should be highly personable, enjoy working in a team environment and possess strong analytical and software skills to deliver high quality engineering on a wide range of projects, varying from small refurbishments and extensions to large complex development projects.
Key skills and requirements:
The successful candidate must hold an IStructE accredited degree in structural engineering, and ideally be driven towards achieving chartership status with IStructE or ICE.
Exceptional communication skills are a requirement for this role as we collaborate with numerous stakeholders and design disciplines on all projects. Being a reliable and highly organised team player is an essential part of this role to ensure we meet strict deadlines.
You need to be passionate about structural engineering and have a real desire to take building projects through the design process and see them built onsite. This role will fit someone who is proactive and able to undertake tasks independently as well as part of a team.
Salary
£38,000 – £44,000, depending on experience
