The Role

AP Valletta is seeking passionate and highly motivated Structural Engineers to join our multidisciplinary team in Malta. This is an ideal role for an early-career professional or a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience across the entire project lifecycle—from initial concept to final site inspection.

You will work within a team of seasoned professionals on projects of varying complexity, developing your talent in a fast-paced, design-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will contribute to all design stages, taking on increasing responsibility as you grow:

• Project Lifecycle: Support projects through concept design, tender packaging, and construction documentation.

• Technical Documentation: Produce preliminary structural assessments, detailed layouts, and calculations.

• Site Support: Assist with site inspections and project administration to ensure design compliance.

• Tender Packages: Help prepare technical drawings, Bills of Quantities (BoQ), and detailed specifications.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with Partners and senior engineers to translate architectural visions into structural solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and possess a strong foundational knowledge:

• Education: A professional degree in Structural Engineering.

• Standards: Familiarity or a sound understanding of the Eurocode suite.

• Software Toolkit: * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

  • Experience with Structural Analysis Software.

  • Knowledge of Revit is a significant asset.

• Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Maltese or other languages is an asset.

• Mindset: A self-motivated team player who thrives on technical challenges and meets deadlines with a strong work ethic.
