Senior Structural Engineer
Bristol
£45,000 – £55,000 plus flexible working and bonus

You’re at a crucial stage in your career as a Structural Engineer right now.

Having spent the last 2-3 years working in a consultancy, whether that’s straight out of uni, or if you have a bit more experience behind you – it’s been a strange time.

You’ll have progressed well, worked hard and probably progressed ok, but what’s next?

It doesn’t matter if this is your first move, or your second/third (or more). If you strive to keep learning, developing and ultimately be rewarded for the work you produce, you need to be in an environment that can offer you all of that.

The opportunity

You’ll join forces with a company who are well-known for their diversity of projects. Be that their work on crucial buildings as part of the NHS framework, or their cutting-edge work in energy-from-waste structures when it comes to new buildings. In terms of conservation, they’re also big on re-use and upcycling of existing buildings, placing a huge emphasis on refurbishment and heritage.

You’ll also be recognised and rewarded from day one with an above-market salary as well as a bonus. They’ve had some good profitable years recently, and whilst they’re making money, they’re ensuring that their staff get a part of this too.

With a clear path to Principal/Associate and beyond, you’ll progress your career in a company that constantly recognises and rewards professional development. The current Associate Director in Bristol has progressed from Senior Engineer in just two years, and they’re already in-line for a Director position having led the Bristol office since joining.

More than half of the engineers here are chartered, so if MICE or MIStructE status is a goal of yours, you’ll be fully supported towards this.

If you want to have a meaningful impact on the local landscape, whilst imprinting your expert knowledge on the next generation of Structural Engineers, we’d love to hear from you.

What else is in it for you?

On top of the bonus, project variation and career progression, you’ll also enjoy;

Remote/hybrid working – so you can enjoy a healthy work/life balance.

25 days’ annual leave, increasing with service.

A bespoke perks and benefits set up that includes private healthcare, cycle to work scheme and other lifestyle benefits – from savings schemes to gym membership discounts.

The choice is yours.

Don’t stick it out in a role that doesn’t reward you, or give you a clear progression path that recognises your hard work.

You don’t need to put together a CV and send it over. We should talk first. Call me for an informal chat, or click ‘apply’ and I’ll be in touch.

Finding out more costs you nothing, and it could be the best call you make today.
