Senior Structural Engineer
Conrad Consulting is pleased to be supporting a key client in Manchester as they look to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer to their team.
This opportunity is best suited to an ambitious Chartered Engineer who is looking for an opportunity to join a growing consultancy with rapid career progression available to Associate and beyond.
Our client is a medium-sized privately-owned firm who are dominating their market space across the UK at present. Their portfolio includes multiple flagship developments but also a collection of smaller, complex, and often architecturally aesthetic buildings that will really enhance your portfolio.
They have enjoyed steady growth over the last 10 years and have created a very attractive brand within a highly competitive market. The working environment is relaxed, collaborative all within a refreshing setting with likeminded people.
Within your new role you will report to the Director who will work 1-2-1 with you on both the technical delivery of projects but also guide you through the operational and commercial processes involved with running the office. You will essentially be acting as an Associate Designate and working closely with the existing senior management to 'earn your stripes' and secure promotion to Associate in the near future.
- You must have significant experience working for a UK based consulting engineer, delivering a range of building structures of varying size, complexity and construction materials
- You must be Chartered (IStructE or MICE)
- Diligent, conscientious, collaborative and professional are words others would use to describe you
- You should have an open-minded approach to design allowing you to deliver both contemporary and innovative solutions but also structures requiring more consideration to the existing footprint and fabric
On offer will be a competitive salary ranging from £42,000 to £50,000 depending on your experience level along with a company benefits package.
This opportunity should be genuinely attractive to those with ambitions of securing a senior position within a premium design consultancy.
