The Role
AP Valletta is seeking a passionate, hands-on, and highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. We are looking for a confident team player who possesses a deep understanding of structural engineering principles and the drive to lead projects through every phase—from conceptual design to site inspection.
In this role, you will tackle projects of varying complexity, translating architectural visions into robust structural realities within a collaborative, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be a technical anchor for our design team:

Project Leadership: Lead structural design efforts, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

End-to-End Design: Manage all project stages: concept, design development, detailed design, tender packaging, and construction documentation.

Technical Deliverables: Produce preliminary assessments, structural calculations, detailed layouts, Bills of Quantities (BoQ), and technical specifications.

Mentorship: Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.

Collaboration: Work closely with Partners and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless project delivery.

Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging codes, and engineering best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience (minimum 5–10 years) and the following qualifications:

Education: Professional degree in Structural Engineering.

Technical Standards: Fully conversant with the Eurocode suite of structural design standards.

Software Proficiency: * Expertise in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Advanced skills in Structural Analysis Software.

Knowledge of Revit is considered a significant asset.

Communication: Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Maltese or other languages is a plus.

Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and the ability to meet tight deadlines within budget.
