Flexible / Home-Based – Betts Associates · Nr Chester
We’re looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join us on a flexible, home-based basis — working in a way that fits around you.
You’ll conduct site inspections and structural surveys, and prepare reports and designs for remedial work, drawing on real depth of hands-on experience.
Our sites have a wide geographical spread, so your home location isn’t critical.
As this isn’t a full-time site role, an interest in passing on knowledge to our younger engineers — mentoring as much as delivering — will be a real advantage.
What we’re looking for:

Chartered (MIStructE or MICE) — a surveyor or qualified site engineer will also be considered

Comfortable working independently on site inspections, surveys and remedial reports

Flexible, home-based working to suit your own pattern

An interest in mentoring and developing our junior engineers
