Civil Engineer

£35k – £45k plus benefits
Our client is an award-winning property consultancy delivering high profile services to a range of public and private sector clients . They are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team and are offering excellent company benefits and very competitive salary for the right person.
Your role:
- Carry out allocated projects within determined time frames, to budget and fee cost targets.
- Ensure scheme design and supervision costs are kept within scales and targets in the current Business Plan.
- Deliver civil projects in full in accordance with client briefs and professional standards.
- Ensure adherence to agreed practice procedures, technical standards and standing orders.
- Preparation of Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) briefs and commission necessary FRAs and carry out interpretation of FRAs.
- Provide site investigation briefs, assess site conditions and carry out an interpretation of soil reports.
- Carry out civil engineering surveys to identify defects, establish documentation cause and provide recommendations.
About you:
- Formal qualification (Degree or HNC/D equivalent) in Civil Engineering
- Civil Engineering project experience
- Knowledge of industry best practice and professional standards
- Working knowledge of relevant design software (AutoCAD/Civil3d, Causeway Flow etc.)
- A current CSCS site card or prepared to obtain following appointment
