CONSERVATION ENGINEERING SUFFOLK CONSULTANCY: Structural (Conservation) Design/Project Engineer
High-profile Conservation Engineers based in Suffolk has a requirement for a Structural Design/Project Engineer to join the practice and it continues to win new commissions.
Candidates will need to be a Graduate member of IStructE and be educated to MEng/MSc-level in Structural or Civil Engineering (2:1 min) and will have gained good design skills on refurbishment projects and maybe conservation and heritage engineering projects. They should be highly skilled in the design of traditional materials and have an interest in historic structures.
Current workload is a diverse mixture of conservation, refurbishment and new-build projects with values up to £25million. Many of the projects are challenging and candidates will need to be both technical and commercial in their approach.
