This well established award winning civil and structural design consultancy are looking for a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their London office, N1.

The consultancy work on all kinds of buildings projects and the associated civil works, from small scale to large scale schemes, covering both and refurbishment.

To be considered for this role you should be experienced working on large regeneration projects, housing estates, sewer diversions, schools and highways.

You should be familiar with detailed design of SUDS & drainage, earthworks, S106 applications, build over agreements, S278 works and conversant with AutoCAD, PDS, Winds and Micro-Drainage.

You will be required to design and manage your own projects and attend Client / Design team meetings.

You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of:

  • Storm and foul water drainage network design
  • Microdrainage and drainage design software
  • Highway layouts (horizontal and vertical layouts) with experience in S38, S104, S278
  • Flood risk assessments
  • Earthworks and estate roads
  • Autocad
  • Preparing and checking project design and assessment calculations and drawings
  • Health & Safety, environmental and managerial procedures

Applicant should have:

  • A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Degree
  • Several years experience working within a Civil Design consultancy
