Well established and reputable Civil/Structural Engineering Consultancy are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Graduate Structural Design Engineer to join their growing Central London office. The practice has over 50 staff in total with offices in several locations. This successful practice has been established for over 40 years with plenty of repeat business clients. They are Members of the Association of Consultants, have excellent links with the IStructE and ICE and operate a Quality Management Scheme compliant with ISO 9001.

You will need a good level 2.1 or 1st class degree from a reputable UK University, good A Level Grades and excellent written and spoken English skills. Priority will be given to candidates who live within sensible commuting distance. They are within walking distance from the mainline station at Henley.

You must have excellent technical skills with the ability to design in all the main materials, coupled with good team work and client facing ability. Your role will include hands on design, liaising with clients and architects, visits to site, report writing and structural surveys. The firm is a highly client focused practice who ensure timely delivery and quality of projects. Projects are often contractor led developments such as residential and commercial buildings, large housing developments, hotels and schools - normally up to around £55m in value.

You should be keen to achieve Chartered status MICE or MIStructE and excellent training shall be provided for this.

This role would suit a candidate who is really passionate to build a career in buildings structures design. Ideally you should have some months work experience within a structural practice already.
