A Civils Technician is sought by this medium sized firm of civil and structural consultants based in Welwyn Garden City and close to the local station with excellent links from London Euston. The role could be either on a contract or permanent basis.

The firm pride themselves on their use of state of the art 3D modelling software for design analysis in order to push the boundaries of efficiency. Suitable candidates for this role should have some experience working as a Civil Technician with knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroDrainage software.

Ideal candidates for this role should be able to demonstrate knowledge of:

  • Storm and foul water drainage network drawings
  • Road design and drainage using 2d and 3d modelling techniques
  • Microdrainage and drainage drawing software
  • Highway layouts (horizontal and vertical layouts)
  • AutoCAD civil 3d experience
  • Detailed civil drawings of various projects around building structures
