Clegg Associates Grows Team as Expansion Continues
5th June 2018, Bristol & Trowbridge - Consultant engineering company Clegg Associates is expanding with three new employees, as growth continues across its civil, structural and highways engineering business.
Eleana Karayianni, Darren Wong and Mike Britton are all joining the structural engineering division, delivering engineering solutions across the company’s range of building projects in a variety of residential and commercial sectors including education, healthcare, retail, green energy and historic buildings.

Eleana, Darren and Mike are joining Clegg Associates at a very exciting time for the business as we continue to grow and expand across the region. They are joining a highly skilled team, working across a variety of residential and commercial sectors from our offices in Trowbridge and Bristol.”

Eleana Karayianni has joined as a Project Manager, responsible for leading the structural engineering group of Clegg Associates’ recently-opened Bristol office. Eleana is a chartered engineer and her experience covers new and refurbished buildings as well as tensile fabric façades, stadium roofs and canopies. She is currently the chair of the young engineers group of the Institution of Structural Engineers in the South West and a volunteer for Engineers Without Borders.
Darren Wong has joined as a Senior Structural Engineer. Darren’s extensive career experience to date has included designing concrete and steel frame structures up to 16 storeys, managing and producing design information from scheme stage through to construction. Darren has worked across multiple sectors, including residential developments and apartment blocks, schools and commercial developments.
Mike Britton has joined as a Senior Structural Technician. With fifteen years’ experience, across education, residential and commercial developments, Mike’s particular interest in steel frame and reinforced concrete detailing will bring specific technical skills and professional expertise to a wide range of projects.
