Civil Design Engineer
A civil design engineer is required to join this North London based award winning Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy, specialising in the design of building structures and the associated civil engineering infrastructure.
You should have experience in the design of below ground drainage and highways works associated with building structures. You will work on projects with values of up to £200 million.
The company are very passionate about sustainable developments and are keen to maintain and enhance their capabilities in this field.
You must be proficient in:
· AutoDesk Civils 3D or similar ground modelling packages.
You will be required to:
· Attend meetings
· Provide written reports to clients and senior management
You will be required to undertake the design and detailing of drainage systems and estate roads up to adoptable standards; the negotiation and completion of the technical aspects of all required Section Agreements for highways and drainage works; the design of Sustainable Urban Drainage systems; compliance with current sustainability requirements including production of Sur1 reports; report writing, including Basic Flood Risk Assessments and the supervision of reports and specialist design elements produced by outside consultants.
You will be provided with training under agreement with the Institution of Civil Engineers to help you achieve chartered status and you will be working under senior civil engineers to assist you in furthering your career and developing your skill set.
