Michael Barclay Partnership LLP (‘MBP’) is a structural engineering practice, based in Central London and established in 1974.  We recruit people who share a commitment to engineering excellence and who demonstrate an ability to work well within a team, listening and responding to our clients’ needs. We work on a wide range of primarily London-based projects including new builds, refurbishments and historic buildings within the residential, commercial and public sectors, designing both permanent and temporary structures.

We welcome applications from talented people keen to join.  In particular, we are looking for a talented Senior Chartered Structural Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant design experience.  Applicants are expected to have a thorough grounding in structural design, good organisational skills and an understanding of the interaction required with other disciplines.  They should be able to clearly communicate structural engineering advice, concepts and design proposals to project team members, contractors and clients.  A good knowledge of current design codes and standards is required, and familiarity with common structural engineering and office software.

At MBP, we value our employees and are a supportive and friendly team.  Our engineers work on a varied range of projects and the commitment and development is often rewarded with opportunities to advance within the firm.  Regular training reviews and CPD activities are also provided.

We offer competitive salaries and a generous benefits package including six weeks annual leave, lunch, in-house yoga sessions, a pension scheme, membership to up to two professional organisations, and a profit-based bonus scheme.

If you wish to apply, please send your CV to london@mbp-uk.com.  Please refer to this advertisement in your covering email.  No agencies, please.

Candidates must be currently living in the UK and have a UK/EU passport or a valid work visa.
