Associate Director - Building and Infrastructure Division – Dublin

In order to consolidate its success and to build the strategy for its continued future growth and development, TOBIN is now seeking to recruit an Associate Director for its Building and Infrastructure Division, based in Dublin.

Working with the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for crafting the company’s Building and Infrastructure business strategy for the Greater Dublin Region, with a particular emphasis on the expansion of TOBIN’s Structural Engineering portfolio in the commercial and private sectors. In implementing this strategy you will be required to lead the business development function, building strong and productive relationships with architects, developers and contractors. You will lead a strong team and will drive for continued profitable growth and development.

You will take overall responsibility for driving the expansion of TOBIN’s Structural Engineering Team in Ireland and you will be required to assist in the overall management of the Dublin office as part of that role.

You should have a relevant degree and chartered status in Structural Engineering and have a strong, successful track record in business development and work-winning within the engineering consulting industry.  You should have proven people and project management skills and the ability to lead and develop a high-performance team.  An understanding of the full life cycle of building management, both in Ireland and the UK, would be particularly relevant.
