This small firm of consulting civil and structural engineers based in Barking are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer or Engineering Director to join their team. They are part of a branch of a larger group so have good financial backing and a very busy workload. They are seeking a senior candidate who is experienced in building structures design. Some of their current projects include new build housing schemes, estates, offices and commercial schemes worth up to £15m in value. The firm are a design consultancy who specialise in both temporary works and permanent works design, this role is for the permanent works department.

Due to the location of the office you would need a car to commute to work.

Candidates applying for this role must be Chartered Structural Engineers who have worked on all aspects of building engineering design (steel, concrete, timber, etc), the role will involve delivering projects, leading a team and assisting with the expansion of the business. The role will involve hands on design and also the following:
